In order for Chikyu Hiroba to move beyond its 15-year history, “Our Vision of Chikyu Hiroba for a Multicultural Community of Coexistence” was drafted on February 25th, 2017. It aimed to promote a community where international residents and Nagaokans can come together to live together in harmony.

This vision was established based on ideas brought up in a Multicultural Coexistence Workshop by individuals and organizations that were supporting international residents in their daily lives.

With this vision, we aim to establish an environment in which international residents are expected to take part in building a comfortable community in collaboration with people from various areas of interest in Nagaoka.
